Aspiring Everything
In no particular order:
1. run a marathon
2. write a novel
3. professional portrait artist
4. want more children
Those are the big ones that are really important to me. There are plenty more little ones. The inconsequentials include things like a size 6, being well read, organizing this or that, etc. Since today is Leap Day, I set my timer for next Leap Day. Four years ought to be enough time. If I'm not there by 2012 then sheesh, I really better move on and quit daydreaming.
oh ho! so they let me back in!

I'm back
And ready to share my rambling.
A wonderful person, and my royal friend, has made the initiative to have a "no drama new year." I've been feeling pressure of my own lately. I have goals, hopes, dreams . . . that are the same ones I had years ago. Well, I do believe it's time to shit or get off the pot. More to come later. Right now it's late and there's another day of too much to do that has little to do with my daydreaming.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
I want lots of things, cricut, remote start, iPod with the running shoes armband wireless headset and all other accessories, new flooring, an island in my kitchen, etc. etc. If someone asks specifically for a gift card, it's really not a bad way to go. It can be a great gift. That you won't have to feel bad about b/c I won't return it. I'll actually use it.
Now, what do I need? peace of mind, commitment, strength, and hope. Aw heck, let's throw in an end to wars throughout the world, let no child go hungry or neglected, put an end to disease.

My perfect book
Has a deep quiet passion that doesn't need to speak. A presence you feel.
I like foreshadowing and depth. A slow strong undercurrent that has you in its grasp without requiring your obedience, because you want it.
Now THAT is a damn good book.
Of course, I still like Austen. Love her novels. But they just don't pull on me the way an Anya Seton novel does. I used to get that from Ayn Rand novels when I was younger.
